Chris Bair

Chris and Miriam’s first introduction to the ketogenic diet was when their oldest son started having seizures. As they followed the medical advice that was given to them, they were introduced to keto as a potential last-ditch effort to treat these seizures if medication was not successful.

They finally found a medication that helped their son and all but forgot about the ketogenic diet until years later when Chris decided to lose weight.

As they started keto (Chris first and then later Miriam), they quickly realized how effective it was (it was the only thing we tried that had any lasting effect on our health), but it was daunting and time consuming.

Even though they researched as much as possible, they still made mistakes like not getting enough electrolytes, and using a meal replacement shake that was loaded with coconut flour, chia seeds, and other gritty stuff. (0/10 would not recommend.) They wanted to make it easier.

That’s when Keto Chow was born.

Dr. Ken Berry

I am a Fellow in The American Academy of Family Physicians. I have been practicing Family Medicine in rural Tennessee for over a decade, and have seen over 20,000 patients in my career so far.

I’ve seen so much suffering and heartache, all because of the unnecessary complications of diseases caused by our modern diet. Well, I’ve had enough! It’s time to do something to stop this slow suffering from these preventable epidemics. No big medical words here, just plain talk you can use to stay healthy and happy. If you like it limp-wristed and sugar-coated then you should probably look somewhere else.

Mitzi R. Champion MPH, MPA, FNTP

(Doctoral Student)

Mitzi has been following the low carb/keto/PHD (Proper Human Diet) lifestyle more than seven years. She recently finished her master’s degree in Public Health with a concentration in nutrition. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Health Sciences and her current area of research expertise is “The effective use of social media in the delivery of a health intervention.” She is a moderator and PHD Mentor in Dr. Berry’s Mighty Network and YouTube Channel. She is also a certified Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (FNTP), an experienced health coach, and a yoga teacher.

Eleven years ago, she was obese with a long list of medical conditions including: depression, ADD, fatty liver, pre-diabetic, insulin resistant, sleep apnea, acid reflux, joint pain, planter’s fasciitis, brain fog, gas and bloating, acne, and dry eye syndrome. In 2020 she was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and decided it was time to have her breast implants removed. After implant removal and breast re-construction surgery in 2021, she has seen a marked improvement in her thyroid blood markers. She is currently on no medications.

Mitzi found her way to low carb in 2015 and in May of 2016, attended her first Low Carb Cruise, was inspired to try Keto. She’s lost at least 50+ pounds, but she’s not totally sure of her heaviest weight, because she refused to ever get on the scale again when she hit 200 pounds.

In her civilian job she works in Defense Acquisition and is a senior logistician for the US.

Coach Bronson Dant

Coach Bronson is a grandfather who didn't get into fitness until his late 30's. Since then he’s spent years learning, training, and helping as many people as he can.

In his words “I used to be the typical, middle-aged dad, dadbod, man-boobs and all. I finally had enough of not living up to the image I had of myself. It took me years but I've finally gotten to the point where my fitness and health are no longer limitations on my ability to enjoy life.

I've been training/coaching for more than 10 years. I've owned a health and fitness center and helped hundreds of people improve their lives. My focus is on helping you reach physical freedom. I want you to gain the ability to say "YES I CAN" to anything that life throws at you.

I live a carnivore lifestyle. I firmly believe that an animal-based, low/no carb, whole-food approach to nutrition is the best for the human condition. Everything that I do in fitness follows a similar holistic approach

Fitness is a tool that improves your quality of life, it doesn't have to be complicated, or stressful. Let's talk about what fitness really is and how you can improve it. I like to help people learn more about their bodies and how to make exercises fit their ability and individuality. Fitness is about every day living, not how much you lift or how you look.

There is more than strength, it must be controlled. There is more than speed, it needs direction. There is more than flexibility, it needs support. All of the parts of your body need to work together. That's what enables your whole life to get better through fitness. Let's see how we can improve your every day.”

Kim Howerton - the Ketonist

Kim Howerton is a Keto Coach and recipe creator who works with people who have spent much of their life struggling with their weight. She feels uniquely qualified to do so, as that is how she spent most of her own life. From her first diet at 8, her life became defined by her weight and inability to lose it.

Until she found Keto, all the excess weight fell off magically, and she was transported to a size 6 with a closet filled with designer labels, all donated for free in praise of her magical accomplishments.

Just Kidding.

Like all real-life stories, it was a bit more complicated than that.  In truth, Kim finding Keto was indeed an incredible life-changing experience.  She’s lost over 80 pounds and now enjoys the kind of health and life she never dreamed would be possible.

But along the way there’s been a lot of tweaking, unlearning, relearning, experimentation and deep work that has allowed her to finally feel in control of her health.  She credits the messy middle of Keto – where she felt like she was flailing and failing, wit the skills that taught her not just to solve her own struggles but to empower others to solve theirs.  She now runs programs specifically designed for folks who seem to have lost their “easy” button.

Autumn Jones

Autumn Weathers

In July 2017, Autumn completely transformed her life, health, and her diet. After a lifetime of being overweight, unhappy, and hopeless, she sought guidance from the most knowledgeable being on the planet. Google. Basically, she just Googled “food to help you feel better”, as she was suffering from yet another flare-up, following her diagnosis of Crohn’s Disease in 2015. On that day, Autumn fell down an internet wormhole and learned everything she could about how to start the Ketogenic Diet. From there, her life was never the same. Keto has taught Autumn that it is possible to gain control, eat nutritiously, enjoy food, and live at a healthy body weight. Her purpose in life is to help others achieve those possibilities. In 2020, Autumn left her decade-long corporate career behind to devote her life to helping struggling people find health and weight loss success through her platform, Watch Autumn Keto. These days, when she is not completely consumed with creating valuable content and resources for her audience, you can find Autumn in her happy place, snuggled up on the couch watching TV with her husband Richard, and their three dogs, Milton, Madeline, and DJ.C

Dr. Rohn Rigby

My name is Rohn. I’m a medical doctor who is board certified in both obesity and family medicine. I have dedicated my career to helping those who struggle with obesity and other metabolic conditions. During my career, I have acquired a wealth of informed medical expertise and professionalism in helping patients discover healthier lifestyles.

I know first-hand how difficult it can be to struggle with obesity. Ten years ago, I was overweight and found myself in the emergency room, as a patient, suffering from chest pains. I decided it was time to take control of my life, so I committed to my own unique regimen of healthier eating and activity. The most important part of this story isn’t that I lost some weight, but that I’ve been there. I’ve looked down at my belly and sighed in exasperation and drooled over a piece of chocolate cake.

I’ve gotten on the seat of my bicycle and pedaled until my muscles ached. I know that with the right information and encouragement, anyone is capable of losing weight.

When I’m not in the clinic, you will find me outdoors biking or spending time in the park with my family. I am passionate about helping every patient learn that a healthy lifestyle means more than just a number on the scale. It can mean stress relief, better sleep, increased energy, and an overall improved human experience.

Robert Sikes - Keto Savage

Robert Orion Sikes is a lifetime natural, competitive bodybuilder.  He started training as a junior in high school weighing a whopping 115 pounds.  In the beginning, he followed traditional, “bro-dieting” wisdom which consisted of eating 6 or 7 meals a day filled with carbohydrates and very high protein.  This nutritional protocol led to a downward spiral of health issues and disordered eating.

After his third bodybuilding competition, Robert decided to try something new and began experimenting with a high fat, strict ketogenic approach to bodybuilding.  He formulated his own approach to contest prep nutrition leveraging keto and earned his pro-status with bodybuilding in 2017.

He has since dedicated his life to learning and teaching others the benefits of following a well formulated, ketogenic lifestyle.  The lessons learned led to his creation of the Keto Brick, a 1,000 calorie, ketogenic performance meal.  The Brick was never meant to be a product sold to the public.  Robert just created it for his own personal use during his competition prep.  However, after featuring it on a YouTube video, he received a ton of interest around the Brick and decided to jump in with both feet to make it into a viable business.  After countless late nights and a never ending grind, the business took off and has since become a wild success!

Robert now works alongside his wife Crystal and their amazing team to continually create content and Bricks and add a ton of value within this community.  His mission is, and will continue to be, empowering others to believe in themselves and truly tap into their full potential by optimizing their body and mind.

Joe & Rachel Stauffer

Joe and Rachel are happily married with 3 wonderful boys: John Paul, Anthony and Caleb. After years of trying every type of weight loss plan you can think of, from severe calorie restriction to CrossFit, we decided to try the ketogenic lifestyle. Thankful for the opportunity to look forward to a happy and healthy future with their three adult sons, Joe and Rachel are excited to share their keto journey and hopefully encourage other families to change their diet and change their lives.

After discovering the keto diet in 2017 and experiencing life-changing health results, we made it our mission to share our testimony with as many people as possible. It is our great hope to encourage others who, like us, have experienced both lifelong weight struggles and discouraging medical concerns. Learning first-hand that diagnoses like morbid obesity, diabetes, arthritis, digestive issues and chronic pain don’t have to be a life sentence is a game changer for our family. And, we want you and your family to experience improved health, as well.
